[Sense to Sense Summer 2025] Publication
Sense to Sense is a creative writing class hosted by Ultralight School in NYC. Over the course of five weeks (for the five senses) in June and July, we read, discussed, and workshopped our own writings and explored translation and the senses. We explored questions like: How can a fragrance become a poem? What are the different ways to write an image, or to document a sound? Or to convey pressure, pain, or touch?
As part of the class, we also published a beautiful anthology of writings that I contributed to designing, along with Ariana & Nat.
Participants: Ariana Gupta, Nat Hartman, Jess Joseph, Kara Kittel, Alicia Liu, Hannah Marshall, alphonse f, Tiffany, Miaoye Que, Kim Upstill, Jill Yum, and Hannah Zhang. The class was co-taught by Meg Miller and Laurel Schwulst.
